Don't do it unless losing your friend is worth having the guy. Girls can be very territorial and you may lose the friend. The same thing happened to me once but I chose to date the boy and I ended up losing one of my best friends. We did eventually make up but our friendship was never the same and she never trusted me with any of her boyfriends again.

well you really should leave him alone since he is your best friends boyfriend but if you REALLY like eachother then you should both sit down and talk to her about it....and see what they say.
