You're reading I love my job. But lately there have been many changes. I understand that economy is bad changes are necesary. I have accepted the changes. But changes are constant. I need some estability, and I feel lost and depressed. Is quitting my only choice?

Maybe I am nuts. But, everytime I go to work there is something new happening, a new change, a new schedule, a different working area... When I come back from my days off I actually get sick just thinking what will be next? The stress is killing me.

I truly understand.Back in the '90s when the economy had tanked for a time; the company I worked for had massive layoffs. I'm talking about people who had worked there for 20 years or more getting laid off where someone would come into their office, tell the to pack up and walk them out the door! Every day people were stressed wondering who would be next. I couldn't afford to quit, I needed money to support my children. I knew that jobs were few and far between. I waited it out and figured if they got rid of me I would at least be able to collect unemployment until I was abled to find another job. Luckily, I was spared. It's difficult, but would be more difficult if you couldn't pay your bills! Believe me. I hope it passes soon. Good luck.
