RELAX and just let it flow. I struggled with this for months ... and you don't HIT the ball, you SWING at it!

The EASIER you swing, the BETTER your drive! Try to swing as slow as possible just as a test. You'll be amazed at the result ... LESS is MORE in golf!

The grip is the most important thing, but keeping it loose and EASY on the club is key and a nice relaxed swing. When you tense up and try to kill the ball, your muscles can NOT work together!

Smooth, easy swing just natural, let the club head fall into the ball and relax your muscles. You'll hit every ball perfectly! I went from 200 yard drives to 325 and improving by using this style :-)

I really agree with the first part of your answer.
Good answer except for the last two sentences. "hit every ball perfectly" is clearly impossible, leading to suspicion of exaggeration on the last.

Weed and/or alcohol, however this may impair your shot so it's kind of give and take.

Oh yeah, that too! Besides, if golf was not a drinking game, I don't think I would even bother!

Take a lesson from a pro? Just grip it and hit it? You just need a little courage to go ahead and take a swing at it. It's not like you're on TV or anything. Just hit it.
