Probably the same way. He didn't advertise his miracles, in fact he told them not to tell others, and he did his preaching face to face. He commanded his followers to do the same, to preach to them in person. People shared the information word or mouth, today it would be people sharing the experiences through Newspaper articles and News Programs, they would seek him out to ask him questions. He'd probably do interviews, but I doubt he would preach televised. Teaching involves making sure people understand what you are saying... if people don't understand, they have to be able to ask questions, for that you need it in person.

MySpace and YouTube.

Jesus has taken care of that already. He has given us God’s message to make known in the last days. We see that at Matthew 28:18-20, where he said in his last words before ascending to heaven: “Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” So it is his followers, the Christians who have the duty to get the message across. He has already communicated that message. When Jesus returns, it is important to understand that the Bible clearly shows that he will return in a far different role, that of a conquering King.

How do you know he hasn't already and we haven't mistaken him for a cult leader?
-
He would be accused of Trickery, smoke and mirrors, he would not be taken seriously, he would be seen as a tv avangelist is seen if he used tv. his miracles would all be doubted and thought faked in some way we can not believe what we see and hear today already, why would this be different ? He would either have to do something soooo huge like move planets and the sun, raise dead, ect, for man to believe he was real, or he would not be believed at all.
-
He would become a cult-legend in the vein of Ken Kesey. (Yes, I am opening up the idea of Jesus traveling around in a brightly painted bus and passing out mind altering substances.) Just sort of wandering around, modestly spreading his word in thousands of small towns. Slowly gathering a small flock of followers, and leaving a lasting impression everywhere he went. And slowly, but surely, ascending to a legendary status entriely seperate from the media and corperations. That just seems like the kind of method Jesus would prefer, something more personal.

He is going to "visit" again, but it will be a big show this time . The Bible says that every eye will see him when he comes in glory, so satellite TV guys. So, as the bumper sticker says: Repent now. Beat the rush on Doomsday
-
Maybe he would be like Bob Dylan , his messages have always been very clear and well publicised
-
He is. You saw him . do you know who He was? did you recongnize Him? or just pass him by? Do you rember how you treated Him ? Do you think He will remember? God, have mercy on us. ;[

One method he would use would be the internet. Jesus would have a blog and he would be active on sites like this. He would likely be found in some chatrooms to because when he was on earth he always liked to interact with people. Of course he would go out and meet people face to face too.
-
I believe he would be Jewish speaker traveling around Israel speaking his message to all...
-
good question :) probably the internet. and he might make audio cd's of his gospel.

Considering that when he did come, he came to a rural backwater; hung out with losers and outcasts; never wrote anything even though it was a fairly literate society; never went near any of the great centers of culture, learning, and power; never spoke in any of the many civic auditoriums, theatres and amphitheatres of his day; spoke primarily in small synagogues and private homes; lived the life of an itinerant apocalyptic/millenarian rabbi; and promulgated his message principally through 11 students/followers he chose/recruited while they were teenagers, I dare say he would have done it much the same way even now. The only problem would be the fact that his principle medium-that-is-the-message was the crucifixion. Since we don't live in an honor-shame society as Jesus did, and we don't have public-degradation rituals like scourgings and crucifixions, and as we attach no spiritual significance or social stigma to such indignities nor the willing submission to them, there isn't really a modern equivalent. Perhaps he could let himself be wrongly disgraced as a pedophilic lobbyist for big tobacco who deals drugs in schoolside playgrounds, but that just doesn't quite do it. Not only would it leave him alive, it would probably end up with him just getting a book deal and a round on the talk-shows -- which, as vindication goes, is hardly on par with the resurrection.

Jesus would be an evangelist. He wouldnt be on television unless the media were following him. He would simply attract thousands of people. People would walk off their jobs just to see Jesus. The word would get around. Of course, probably during a riot induced by the police, Jesus would get shot and be put into the ground or even cremated. Then three days later, he would just be around with his friends, and the media would go bananas. He would teach, and all his teachings would be recorded. Then he would leave in a cloud. And that would be that. People would evangelize all around the world, and everyone would know about Jesus, and then war would stop, people would be happy. we would become a one nation world. Peace would reign.

I think he'd surprise everyone. Just like he did before
-
I think he would not get his message out to the extent, there is so many now days that are saying they are sent from god, they are enlightened and so on, he would not be noticed in the same way like he was before. even if a new messiah would enter this world, he would not have the name Jesus so how would anyone know that THIS PARTICULAR MAN is the real deal? I sadly don't think so, ok lets say he do some miracles to prove that he really is the messiah? people will instatly suspect fraud. and shake their head and move on and forget about it.
-
He would use Tom Cruise like Scientology is doing. :P
-
We no longer live in biblical times, we are no longer ignorant, or impressesd with conjuring tricks, maybe he would go on America's got talent and do his whole water to wine routine..... X X X
-
"What if god was one of us. just a slob like one of us. Yeah yeah yeah." lol Ah, that song reminds me of LA. Jack
-
Jesus said in Mark 16:15, ".....Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." So he would probably choose a few people to spread the gospel via radio, television, internet, and door-to-door "confrontational" evangelism.
-
Youtube, street corner conversations, blogs, and crowdsourcing. The New Millenium Digital Jesus will be peer-to-peer.
-
no matter what he did or how many miracles he made nobody would probably listen or care. even hive he cured every disease in the world he would end up getting assassinated by some ignorant pendejo just like MLK and JFK.
-
He would use the same method that he instructed his followers to use right up to the end. Preaching from house to house and where-ever he could find people...In the market place, street corners, etc, etc.
-
Jesus loved to be among the people, so I think he would be like a "Woody Guthrie," just traveling around talking to groups of people, just like he did originally. Some of the apostles might set up an "appearance schedule" on the Internet so that Jesus would be able to speak in larger venues like stadiums. He'd be bigger than the Billy Graham Crusades were!!
-
He would probably be sitting in some deli in Seattle drinking a skinny capu, eating a rocket and sunblushed tomato with feta cheese focaccia. The truth would likely be tweeted via some blackberry device. @followers: follow me

I know exactly what he would do. First of all he would be born in humble surroundings. Then he would start to do incredible acts and miracles at a very young age. He would know His past of course because He died as a fully realized soul meaning He reached Godhood. So now, He comes down fully realized. Slowly he lets it be known by deed, thought and power who He is. He is here and He will be known to all. He has come in our time of great need. The Avatar is on earth. May you find Him now. There are several realized souls on this planet as we speak. If you know how to seek God and recogize the signs God will appear.

well... I think he'd start a blog "this is the word of god", start a twitter "Today I turned water into wine" and such stuff, and then come to AB and answer these kind of questions "But I'm telling you I AM Jesus" :P Cheers.
