Why are the early New England settlements more often written about and commonly accepted as the beginning of English settlements in North American, instead of the earlier English settlements in the Chesapeake region?

    because history is determined by the people who write the books. two people can see the exact same thing yet describe it two totally different ways. thats what makes history irrelevant and for the most part exaggerted/misdirected. if you havent seen it with your own eyes dont believe it.
