  • tell things that you are (were) good at, things you loved, your accomplishments in life. always be positive.. I mean for god sake you're already dead, no need beating a dead horse.. lol .. good luck!!
  • Find an obituary on the internet, then just replace the words and names and personalize it. It's what I did :)
  • I had the same assignment in Psych when I was in college. I listed the things that I wanted to do in my life even though I hadn't done done them yet like I had already done it. I'm assuming this obit is for 50 years from now, right?
  • Well first of all, that's a little depressing, isn't it? I never had to do that for my psychology class. I would first get a local paper, like a Sunday paper, and look in the obituary section. Go over a few of the obituaries and see how they start out and what's in them. You will need to decide if you want to let people know your age, your background, who in your family you want to mention, etc. Also, think about the place, day, and time of your funeral and burial. It will be hard to summarize your life, achievements, and mention all the people, but once you look at the obituaries in the paper, you should get a good idea of how to write your obituary for the class. Good luck!
  • First you have to figure out how you want to die. In bed with a lover, in bed with multiple lovers? In bed with multiple lovers and a barnyard animal? Then throw in an odd noun or two. Like Found dead smeared in artificially flavored banana icecream. Maybe a quote from the person investigating your death. "We still don't know how the rubber chicken, or jumpercables fits into all this." Give your teacher something to ponder.
