Where do you find a job that pays better and treats their employees better than Wal-Mart? I really would like to know...

I want something that pays as well as they do but with less stress.

Yeah I've heard Whole foods is mean.I think grocery cashiers make decent wages. I know many of them are union.

not many are Union they fight it with training, cashiers in s. fl make $10.00/hr

No, my job just really sucks. It worse than middle/ high school. All the gossiuping, rumor-mak-up-ing, lies, 2-faced mangers, he said-she said crap, etc, all of it. Its just driving me nuts. Plus I never get any help with the heavy freight, and when I do get any help, they send me the laziest one. So better not even bother sending help at that point. GAWD! Its nothing but stress. And its always the same crap every week, I just get sick and tired of it.

My boyfriend works at a grocery store, he's been there for 2 years now and he's making 13.50 an hour. It's a lot better paying than walmart

He works 40 hours a week. and over night workers get paid a little better because not many really want to do them

he works 8 hours a day, he doesn't do the night shift. If you opted to do the night work though, you'd probably be paid a little better than he is being paid

Hmm..I don't believe so. But generally grocery stores are nice to work for. I would at least look into what's available in your area
