  • He had the ability to read plays so well. He was good at anticipating where other players on the ice will be and was able to get them the puck. Like someone posted above, he would go to where the puck would be, not chase it. He had decent had eye coordination allowing him to make passes to his teammates. Not the best skater, he was quick enough that if you dared try to hit him he could generally roll off or get out of the way. Good line mates helps a lot too (kurri, anderson et al.)
