Not really. I didn't see much of him in his later years and he seemed to be a bitter old fart from what I did see of his shows in the last few years of his life.

I miss George Carlin, He was hilarious. His last shows he did before he died were less comedy and more just an old man bitching about things he doesnt like. When he was younger he would bitch about the things he doesnt like in a funny way. When he was old he was more or less just complaining and sounding serious and that took away the comedic value quite a bit. but I loved his angry comedy acts when he was around middle age to late middle age

Love the guy. Miss him because he can no longer add to his legacy. Don't miss him because I have several of his tapes and can listen to him whenever I please.

Yes and no. He left enough funny moments of him lingering in my brain to tip my hat off to him for being memorable enough to be a fixture in there in the first place. Nobody lives forever, but if your good enough, you can be someone who's hard to forget. That was George Carlin.

Yeah..I never met the guy, I was never even on the same continent as him, yet I miss him. He was excellent.
