Help answer this question below.
in most states you have 72 hrs to report an injusry, the sooner the better though
if you are in this time frame ur good
a word of warning though, work would have to prove that you are a fraud and didn't get bitten at work and don't milk this, if you can work don't try to get out of it or get 'paid' from it
you have a thin case
what you should expect if your employer to pay for the medical
Unless you reported the injury to your supervisor before you left work, you are going to have a rough time getting it through on workers compensation.
Yes if it is determined medically and was reported to your direct supervisor the day of the incident and a injury report was filed u have a vaild claim i have just went through this and was hosp for 4 days and out of work on workmans comp for 6 weeks
No. If you can't prove it happened at work then you can't get workers comp.
The answer to this question really deals with proving the truth. do you have witnesses that were present, when the bite occured at work? you are going to have a tough time proving where the spider bite actually occured. you have your job cut out for you.
Workers comp. will deny your claim, unless you have a better case, than you have presented today.
