  • I disagree, i hated my school years with a passion.
  • No- my non-friends stole from me then and in college only to have an opportunity to go to Jail.
  • No, a lot of bad memories and stupid things I did.
  • I think most people are still finding themselves in high school, but I had a wonderful time in college. My college years were some of the most fun times of my life.
  • My school years were not good ones, especially when Richard Van Hall, the Gym teacher at Williams Jr. High School in Davenport, Iowa, sexually assaulted me in the boy's locker room, when I was 13.
  • I agree with college, In elementary-highschool you will do more things as a result of peer pressure and that ruins it for alot of people who got bullied or ridiculed.
  • I should hope that's not true. The typical "school years," if used in terms of grade school through high school are relatively short compared to how long a person lives. If this rings true the good times are over at 17/18? NO WAY there is alot more to look forward to after high school. Believe me, I graduated (from high school) 11 years ago and the years keep geting better and better despite the many bumps in the road that are bound to trip you up as you get older.
  • I somewhat agree. Elementary school was hell, everybody became more friendly in jr. high, and high school was the best time of my life. I became lonely again for the next couple of years.
  • no, i hated it.
  • Absolutely 100% I agree with this. High School and college were the best years of my life. I am only 24 and I agree with that statement.
  • to a point had a great time in high school but was all alone in college, and going foward alone getting my masters and phd..
  • Nope. I feel like I am easing into my best years now. I feel like I have learned a whole lot more in my life experience, in dealing with people, having jobs, being in the real world, and figuring out who I am and what I want.
  • Yes I do, definitely.
  • my school time was good as in college I had worse time strugglig to earn and learn, both at a time. so comparing that with school days, BAD is better than worse time, so have to agree there with you Ailsa. By God's grace when I married a decade back... my good time started......... so I would say post marriage time is the best time of my life
  • No way no how!!!
  • Even though I'm still in school myself, I think that the last years of high school and college, not to mention being fresh out of college will be great years. It's when you're surrounded by friends and familiar faces. On the other hand, I have a friend who would say that she can't wait to be done with high school because she absolutely hates it. Girls these days are cruel. So for some, high school is a living hell.
  • No. I will attend my 50th high school reunion in June, the first ever time I'll have returned there. College was better than h.s., which pretty much sucked. Grad school was better than college. Marriage and family have been fabulous. Career has been rewarding. Retirement has been delightful. High school? PLEASE!!!! But we've all gotten over ourselves now. It's good to be grown up.
  • Hell No!
  • No way. Those were the worst years. My years since meeting my husband and sharing a family with him have been the best by far.
  • Whoever first said that didn't go to my school!
  • No, I don't think so either. We had to ride a bus for nearly 2 hours 1 way to get to school every day. It was miserable. At least it was not boarding school though. I got to come home every night. 2/4/23
