If I can remember that far back ..... I believe the first VHS movie I watched on my own VCR player was "Barb Wire" with Pam Anderson ....

My household didn't get one until 1987, and actually we rented one from the video store. I think creepshow or a police academy film was my first pick. It was kinda cool all me and my sibs rented were cheap horror or action movies and watch like 5 in a day.

I remember that. I bought the vcr and joined the video club in town. The first rental was "Red Dawn" with a very young Patrice Swayze and Jeniffer Grey. Better known for "Dirty Dancing" many years later. AHha! Hows that for a memory.

I think it was a Bruce Lee video, Enter the Dragon.

I was six years old and my brother bought a Sony VCR and put on Star Wars A New Hope. I believe thats where I contineued to become a huge Star Wars fan.
