My college age daughters new 'job' is as an activist collecting sigantures and seeking donations door to door. She was told that if she didn't collect $500 in donations per week that she wouldn't get paid and be let go after 4wks of falling short. Scam?

It definately sounds like it ....

She needs to verify the legitmacy of the Organization by contacting the Secretary of State in her state ... or even the local prosecuator ....

IF she is collecting for a fraudulant Charity ; SHE could get prosecuted just as well as anyone else with the company ....

Thanks for answering High Shaman. The whole thing sounds hokey to wifey and I(she suggested 'cult' as a joke job title), but I don't know how the whole activist industry works. I'll definitely be doing some checking.
