Time travellers would have RULES they would have to follow, in order to be allowed the privilege of time travel, and chief among them would PROBABLY be, "Don't let those you encounter, KNOW that you are a time traveller."

If any substantial changes were made in the past, they COULD adversely affect the time traveller's "present," couldn't they?

- Hard to believe everything would be able to be strictly followed all the time, for, you know, FOREVER.

- The problem with that, is that you would not KNOW that you were affecting the future in a "positive" way.

- I think most people would say, "Yeah. This go ahead and stop this Holocaust from happening" and feel pretty good and confident about it.
  And, if by some really strange reason that would make the world worse, well, they could always go back again and alter things again.
  The main thing is that I find it almost impossible to believe that everyone who would get the capability to go back in time would follow these rules you say, to a T, forever. That's just not logical.

- There are plenty of folks in the USA military who blindly obey orders every day, without questioning them.
  Those same folks could possibly be time travellers as well.

Maybe there is a time traveler among us but we don't know it because if anyone knew that there was a time traveler it would affect the space time continuum or maybe create a time paradox that could destroy the whole universe and send us all to a parallel universe.

what about all the people through history that seemed to have more advanced knowledge than there peers maybe even jesus was from the future imagine what a person could do if they could go back in time with the knowledge they have now simple things to us that are taught at school level would have been incredibly advanced to people of a few hundred years ago imagine going back 500 years and explaining the theory of flight or building something even a model.

- Well, it wouldn't just be people from a year into the future. It would be from all times in the future. And, perhaps from even the past if someone from the future were to go back in history and bring people to their time.
