I have a WS-55315 model. I am having a problem with the TV accepting a signal from the either the Cable remote or the original remote. Both remotes work fine with the DVD and VCRs. I have reprogramed the cable remote with the origial code that was used wh

    sounds like the IR reciever is failing but first check for any source of IR noise, the newer spiral "green power" lamps give off massive amounts of ir, turn them off and see if any change - and LCD computer monitors can do this as well
