Yep. Just press and hold until it shakes, and then hit the X.

Hold down any application for 3 seconds. All of them will start the jiggle. The apps you downloaded will have an "x" on the top right hand side of the application icon. Tapping the "x" will delete the application. Also, when the apps jiggle, you can rearrange them in any order you like.
