Help answer this question below.

I just adopted an 8 year old cat today, and it hasn't used its litterbox at all yet. I put him in there a couple times but he never went. Do you think it went poop and pee somewhere else in my house? I wouldn't be mad, but I'd want to clean it ASAP.

    Don't sweat it! He needs to get used to you and his new home first. A cat can "hold it" a good 2 to 3 days. IF he goes somewhere "BAD" use vinegar cut 1/2 with water, then, baking soda mixed with 3% peroxide. Sop most of the vinegar mix up with paper towels but let the peroxide baking soda mix dry, then vacuum. Works wonders!

    Cats can be funny & take some time to adjust to a new environment. I wouldn't get too worried for a day or two.
