First, racism is racism. I do not believe in reverse racism.

The discrepancy of the amount of actual racism vs. the amount of claimed racism with whites is, I believe, due to the high profile of the white hate groups, the virulence of them, and their long history. They get a LOT of press and are throughout history.

Until relatively recently, racism from whites against non-whites was tolerated and, in many cases, encouraged. I am not talking of a decade or two, I am talking of until, say, the 1950's which is "relatively recent" in a historical context. They are still active today and their numbers are swelling as the economy declines and due to Obama's presidency (I believe).

Luckily, tolerance for them along with all hate groups, including those of minorities, is declining with the general populace.

You mean like the Black Panthers and La Raza? Really, minorities don't need such groups. They have the ACLU.

When a more-qualified white man is passed over in favor of a less-qualified minority, what else should we call it?

There's no such thing as reverse racism, there's just racism. I'm not sure who's "crying" about it but judging anyone because of the actions of a small group of members of their race is wrong, regardless of what race they are.

This is a function of demographics, based on where one is located.

But I'd like to make something perfectly clear here: racism is racism, no matter who does it to whom.

And I've always thought the whole human concept of "racism" to be, quite frankly, stupid. We're ALL part of the same "race"...homo sapiens. Homo habilis, homo erectus, homo antecessor, homo neanderthalensis, and several other races died out long ago.

So all we have left is homo sapiens, who insist on arguing about their skin color, size, nationality, nose shapes, hair style and color, and more.

Why we, as a species, absolutely insist on going around calling ourselves an intelligent species on the one hand while making ourselves look like a bunch of slack-jawed, booger-eating morons over such things on the other hand simply amazes me.

there is nothing in your statement based on fact, only your conjucture, I dispise the KKK neo nazis, but you failed to mention many other subversive groups, the many gangs in the country, all ethinic groups, Muslim extremists, Jewish extremists, the list can go on for ever, everyone of them claim they are being treated wrong.

There is no such thing as reverse racism. Being, 'white' I have never once cried about reverse racism or somethign that doesn't exist. Perhaps your question is racist?

Racism is a prejudice or discrimination based on race. By definition then, anyone (of any race) that wishes to create or participate in a race-based club or group that excludes another race is condoning and actively participating in racism.

The number of members of 'white racist groups' you mention as a percentage of the TOTAL white population would surely be a small minority. That is why you hear it said and why there is no discrepancy. Personally, I doubt any reliable numbers have been published on the exact current membership of the extreme 'white racist groups' vs. the plethora of supporters and membership in non-white organizations (remember that would include ALL the non-white organizations for EVERY other race including the NAACP, United Negro College Fund, Hispanic College Fund, Mexican American Legal Defense & Education Fund, American Indian College Fund, etc. The list would go on and on...).

I think the complaints of reverse racism are in regards to 'whites' having a problem with the general acceptance of those non-white advancement groups or employment quotas because something of the same nature for whites would be deemed racist and highly objectionable...THAT is a discrepancy, double standard and utter hypocrisy.
