They probably would if I'd answer the phone. I've gotten into the bad habit of not answering the phone if I don't recognize the number calling me.

Yes, yes, and YES! Not only is it an inconvenience, but they are often disrespectful. When you politely tell them you aren't interested, they disregard your wishes and keep going with their sales pitch. It would put a smile on my face if there was a special place in hell for these people.

I don't hate them... they are just doing what they can for a living. It does really frustrate me when they call outside of 9am-5pm, or when the call finally comes through after several cold rings - but I will always be polite to them when I tell them I am not interested.

I don't like them calling my home, but I have caller ID, so I just don't answer the phone if I don't know who it is.
