Coloring your hair blond would mean that you're bleaching your hair. Don't do it! It will become dry and brittle. Use a lighter shade of brown.
I have dark brown hair and I want to go blond.
What do I do now to get the red goldinish orange out and go blond?

I agree with keeping the black hair, but I'm an experimenter when it comes to hair color and loved changing colors when I was younger. I've been everything but blond, including "RED BEFORE YOU'RE DEAD!"

oh the first time i changed hair color.. i was black, red, platinum, some unforseen oranges as well. my husband finally convinced me to leave it natural (wow i do have beautiful hair:))It took me many years to realize and correct the damage i did to my hair.. its soft, sexy and down to my waist. it definately was a "What was i thinking" decade.
