Anyway, they buy your debt for a lowish percentage from the original creditor so they are usually quids in!

UK Law: I have a couple of county court judgements (6 years old) and a debt company have just caught up with me :( do i still ignore it as after 6 years they are destroyed? SOS!

Can a law firm (coll agency) collect on something that isn't on my cr reports? I was told that I have to prove that the cell phone debt isn't mine (from '01 or '02) and to file a police report by 30 days. This was removed from my cr rep yrs ago. Michigan.
