Why is the side of your head(temple)so painful when it is put under preasure?

I think the skull is thinner/weaker there isnt it? Means there is less support from outside pressure.

The area of the skull under the temples is called the frontal bone, and is the thinnest of all the major skull bones. It is also shielded by only a very thin layer of flesh compared to the rest of the skull, and contains a disproportionate amount of nerve cells. The pain reflex in this area is stronger to attempt to protect the frontal lobes of the brain, which are directly underneath this area and very important.
