Yah one of my junior who's application of transfer is not heard by my Boss so i just try to figure out his problem and told my boss about his problem that he need transfer badly because his family need him there and it worth it.

Yes, I do that all the time, to the point that Dieter is sometimes annoyed with me. When we talk about cases heard on TV or something which happened in our neighborhood, I always respond with "but".....I try hard in those cases to find a possible reason why the deed in question could have been done.
