  • You probably have fox squirrels (often mistaken for greys) and American red squirrels (particularly in coniferous forests). Also, wherever grey squirrels are found, you will find some black squirrels, as they are a melanistic subgroup of the eastern grey squirrel. You probably won't ever see one unless you spend time in coniferous forests with night vision, but you likely also have Northern flying squirrels.
