G'day Trojan Medic, Thank you for your question. There have been so many as he was a master of both dramatic and comedic acting. My favourite is probably North by Northwest with honourable mentions to The Philadelphia Story, Bringing Up Baby, Notorious, To Catch a Thief, Arsenic and Old Lace, His Girl Friday, The Awful Truth and Suspicion. He never won an Oscar primarily because he was the first to go against the studio system but knowledgeable judges such as Alfred Hitchcock and Howard Hawks considered him the best ever. Regards
