Help answer this question below.

My laptop is not working after there was a problem with the original charge ..so i bought a new one which when i plugged in socket, it showed a sign of charging i tried to switch it onbut it didnt work after 3 attempts-charge sign disappeared-not working

Is the battery any good? Batteries tend to wear out in a couple of years anyways, and some laptops won't boot unless there is a good battery in place, even if the AC adapter is plugged in.
