Help answer this question below.

I have a latex sensitivity, when it touches my arms and hands i get a rash..so do you think condoms will cause a allergic reaction to me? do non-latex condoms cost more then regular? how do you know that you bought the right size condom that'll fit him?

Yes, it will cause a reaction.

There is more than one type of non-latex condom available. Unless you are married, DO NOT use natural skin condoms. Polyurethane ones offer better protection against STDs. However, they're far more vulnerable to breakage, so keep that in mind.

Female condoms (which are polyurethane) have a lower failure rate, and you wouldn't have to worry about sizing either.

  no we arent married we've been dating since 11-9 of last year. whats the difference between a male and female condom? so the male polyurethane ones break easy but the female polyurethane ones dont?

- Polyurethane itself breaks more easily since it's less flexible than latex. Lubrication helps, though. Female condoms have a lower failure rate according to the stats, but I'm not sure what factors are involved in that.

This is a lot of personal questions.

There are alternatives to latex condoms. one is fourx.

Size is a question, that only you can answer.

Ask a female pharmacist, walgreens is excellet, your personal questions. she has the answers.

By the way, have you asked your mother these questions??

  is fourx found in stores as any other kind of condom? well i cant answer it because i dont know what size he is. i'd feel weird to talk to some lady face to face that i dont know. heck no i havent talked to her about this stuff, it'd probably cause a war because christians arent suppose to have sex before their married even though my parents did, although she was the one that told me to buy some condoms to take with me over to his house because she thinks we'll slip up..lol and i told her that if it happened it wouldnt be a "oops we just had sex" kinda thing, it'd be planned.

- ok, miss cookie,four x is on the shelf, along with the other condoms. they are made from animal intestines, i believe. they are more expensive, but really worth it, especially with your latex sensitivity. size is still up in the air, four x usually fits all. use protection and watch out for those "oops". remember, there is no such thing as being a little pregnant. either you are or you aren't.

There are sheepskin condoms available. They are more expensive, but avoiding a bad allergic reaction is worth the cost. I have read that they protect against pregnancy, but not against viral transmissions, because they can penetrate the sheepskin.

  are the sheepskin ones found at any store like walmart like the regular condoms? if they are penetrative then are they worth it? because we arent looking to start having kids yet at this point and time of our relationship.

- Thanks, you are welcome. I have seen lambskin condoms in drugstores. Virus can penetrate, but virus are microscopic. Human fluids won't pass the membrane.

Let me tell you chica, if you have a latex sensitivity on your arms and hands, you do NOT want to find out if you do in your vagina. Stay away from latex condoms, damn the extra cost (if there is one). As for the size, let him buy those, if it's an option, unless you know for sure what size you need to get.

  well i dont know, like if it's a extra cost i'll feel bad that he has to spend that just because i'm allergic to latex..but i don't know his size. so how would i tell him that i think he should get some condoms that i'm not allergic to without sounding bossy or whiny about the allergy situation?
