Unfortunately there really are some people who just can't be pleased, period.

Simply put; there are customers that you cannot please, no matter how hard you try ... I worked retail management for a few years and it isn't quit as easy as everyone believes ....

I used to work in a grocery store. Alot of people give you a complaint to help your business...others complain cuz they can. I remember seeing this 1 lady come in and complain EVERYTIME she was in...about EVERYTHING!...the plates are to little, the hanger in the bathroom isnt big enough...They dont carry this cheese...blah blah blah, always something. I noticed alot of times people must not have any authority in their home or work...so they decide to take all the power they can get while being a "customer"...Its rather annoying, and I dont think they realize they are gaining no respect and get even sh*ttier service once they become rude.

Every complaint is an opportunity. There are customers who just can't be pleased and all those customers want is to complain, let them. Go out of your way to tolerate and accommodate them. They will shop there forever more or at least until they manage to get your goat and you blow up at them. If you don't give up, they won't either, meanwhile they will be spending their dollars in your store.
