Your mom is entitled to her opinion but I think that Anna Nicole was not a wonderful mother, but certainly not the worst mother ever. Greed is a horrible thing and money did bad things to Anna. At least not she is in peace and not fighting over the estate of J. Howard Marshall.
I don't know if Larry Birkhead is the best guardian for this little girl but he is the biological link.

no kid deserves to grow up without a parent especially a little girl without a mom and who knows maybe anna nicole would have changed and been a great mom for her daughter

It is hard to say what kind of a relationship with her mother the daughter has lost.
Some pretty screwed up women have babies they adore, and the love they give the child is priceless.
