Just find a set of used or cheap replacement injectors. Installing a Carb on an FI engine would be a hassle. You'd have to rewire everything, change the ECU, install the carb and different intake manifold and deal with vacuum lines. It would probably add up to more money than just replacing the bad injector(s).

My 2010 Golf Mk6 retains a lot of water inside the front doors until they are opened. VW say its design feature.Do you have this problem???

You're reading My fuel injectors died on my 89 VW Golf (gas), would you suggest to put new fuel injectors or have a new carborator installed instead? I was told carborators are less hassle, plus easier to fix.
