Yes I would well imagine it would , not fact just my opinion

It's almost certainly aready happened. The Milky Way is a big place and it doesn't affect us unless it is fairly close to us.

G'day Amare Veritas, Thank you for your question. It depends on how far away we were and the sixe of the black hole. After all, there is a supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky Way and we have survived that for millions of years A supermassive black hole contains millions to billions solar masses. Having one of those nearby might cause problems but it depends on how far away it is. However, it requires more than one star to collapse to create a supermassive black hole. Black holes can wander but the chances of one wandering through our solar system are rather small. I have attached sources for your reference. it depends on how close it is, the centre of the milkyway is a black whole.

Even the centre of the milky way is considered to be a black hole still humanity survives. If a star dies in the milky way i dont thing its gravitational pull would over come the central pull iing force of our milky way.

This event probably happens every few years. Unless it happened *very* close to us - a few light years, it would have no effect at all. The Crab Nebula is n example of where this happened; the nebula is now about 6 light years across. The nova which produced it might have done some damage for ten or twenty light years or so, but not at any significant distance.

PLEASE READ MY ANSWER. I'M ONLY IN FIFTH GRADE.If the black hole is really big and close to us, it would dammage us. For example; if the sun converted into a black hole we would die because there would be no light and it would swallow us. Or, if the black hole led us to another galaxy with another sun, we might survive. But I doubt so. If the star that we always see at night by the moon (the brightest star) converted into a black hole, that would damage us. I hope this helped you though your question was a long time ago. Remember I'm onli in fifth grade.

Probably, it happens often.

a dorment black hole is near the centre of our own milky way in fact its why our galaxy spins gravity caused it to form the spiral arms of it.our own solar system is located in one of the spiral arms saying that though we would become part of the singularity if earth was pulled in while the black hole feeds on all matter around us.

Sure. There are a bunch including a probably super massive one at galactic center. 100,000 light years is one BIG back yard. :-) +5
