    Absolutely. Galaxies often collide. As they are mostly empty space, they pretty much pass through each other without any trouble.

    Depends what you mean by Survive. The galaxy would be transformed in terms of the number of stars and planet. Human race would not survive.

    Most of the stars wouldnt even hit each other ,there so far apart.We are now already hitting a few small galaxys.

    the sagitarius dwarf galaxy has been pulled apart by the milky way the gravity at the centre of the milky way is so powerful that a black hole is thought to be there its a theory that we got pulled into the orbit of the spiral arms of the milky way when this happened. this galaxy is home to us now because our galaxy was pulled apart the reminants of the dwarf galaxy have been seen by the hubble telescope nasas website is the best place for info the milky way is a powerful force.

    if it hit the arm where our solar sytem is, we'd be toast, but the Galaxy would survive.
