Very rarely, though I'm tempted to drink a beer through a straw for some odd reason. I think an ABer mentioned that once...

If the drink has a cover on it with a straw opening I'll grab a straw if available. If the drink comes with a straw, then I'll use it. Otherwise, I'll rough if and drink directly from the beverage container.

When I am drinking out of a can, I get cold sores from the can.

+5. When ever they bring me one with my water in a restaurant. Other than that here is a tip for all you home makers. When I buy chicken or meats I will place each piece in a zip lock baggie with a straw sticking out. I suck out the air and then pull the straw out and it is like using a vacume sealer. No special bags needed,no machine and it is cheap and works great.

Just about every day. They sell these little juice boxes at school, and I always get them because I don't want to pay nearly four bucks for a bottle of Coke. So I'm sitting there drinking a juice box and looking like an ass. But it's so damn fine juice.
