Do you like Jim Carrey better in comedy movies or serious thrillers like "The Number 23"?

The first time I saw the previews for "The Number 23," I thought it looked like a really cool movie, but it was driving me crazy who the lead actor was. My friend and I, at the same time, asked each other "Wait a minute--is that Jim Carey?" I haven't seen that movie, but I don't think I'd be able to take it seriously after seeing Jim Carey in so many comedies...But he's a good actor, and he can probably pull it off.

I have only seen him do mostly comedies, but I think that is his niche and what he does best.

hes good in both thats what makes him a good actor..hes real funny but i got admit i like the seriousness more

Serious stuff - - to me his comedies are nothing more than the stuff he already did ( and better ) on the " In Living Color " TV show. I thought he was very good in ' The Number 23 . '

well personally I love to laugh but I thought he was great in The Number 23 :)
