at the the time it was typing.. there were no computers back then just a typewriter , so i thought i'll never need this..well now i'll go back on practicing

"Gym" class. We literally sat in a room with weight machines and no teacher while most people smoked cigarettes.

Gym. As if playing a sport for an hour a week teaches anything about physical education. . I also had to take a class my freshman year which was literally copying down pages out of a book using WordPerfect, a completely antiquated program even at that time (1998). That was completely useless. We used to sit there and hack through the school's weak security system to access games (which were blocked) - drove our teacher crazy because we knew more about computers than she did - that class sucked.

I went to an agricultural high school. For freshman year, the school requires that students sample all of the agricultural courses. For me, the most useless one had to be working with flowers in the greenhouse, as I have a black thumb.

Art...Dont get me wrong though, I love art...the only problem is..they want it done there way, even though there are cooler ways to do things. I would always do something really groovy...but I think the teacher just didnt like me. So it was my most useless class. But it shoulda been real cool.

interdisciplinary studies..........lame-o i think gym is good, because it forces kids to get active, when they otherwise wouldn't in their spare time

My senior year, I had all the credits I needed to graduate, so I had study hall and was an aid. I ran errands for my favorite teachers and the office staff. Doughnut runs, pizza runs...

Nothing is useless. Even if you learn a word from somwhere it is a an another feather in Cap. Be positive

Math... I can't retain it and can't remember any of it no matter how many times I do! And in hair dressing school... Finger waves and stack perms. You need these things to pass tests... THen you never ever use them again!

French. But I apologize to Miss Kobak as I say it. I did like her teaching, and her legs XD ...but I just thought it was an extraneous thing to learn. SPANISH might have been occasionally useful, in this country. French, never has.

Algebra and geometry, total wastes of my time and effort. I graduated in 1979, and have NOT used algebra ever since high school. There was a scene in the movie "Peggy Sue Got Married" (with Kathleen Turner and Nicholas Cage), where the older Peggy Sue went back in time and told off her algebra teacher, GOD I wish I could do that!

Algebra 1, The teacher sucked. He gave a 10 minute review of a new lesson, then let the class work on their homework. The only class I flunked
