VERY RUDE!! I would never dream of doing that to a house guest! What if they are sleeping naked or having sex or whatever. NO when you have guests in a room of your house it is only polite to think of it as "theirs" until they leave. +5

Yes, unless it has been a habit of yours to sleep until noon and you're supposed to be helping them with something.... I don't know. Lock the door or move the dresser in front of it. Ask yourself why they're doing it. It is their house and you're the guest. Wake up earlier. Maybe as a joke - wake up a little earlier than them and go fumble around in their bedroom and open their curtains. Have fun, don't get too upset over this.

It depends on what room they're in, what time of day it is and whether or not I gave them permission to just sleep non-stop until whenever. I've had people stay at my place who assumed I was just going to move out and let them stay there while i paid the rent for them or some apparent similar delusion. I've had to toss all their stuff out on the street because they used me. Rude isn't a one way street. I had to throw everything out on the curb while they slept then woke them up and told them to go join their sh*t on the curb. I had another person beg me for a place to stay temporarily rent free then go out and buy themselves steaks to eat while i had nothing but bologna. Borrow my movie rental card and never return the rentals, take my cordless phone and lock themselves in the room and leave, etc.. Rude? Indeed. he was lucky he didn't leave on a stretcher. ;)
