We changed from Norton as it has not been working good for the past few years.
The shopping cart tells you the site is transaction safe and protected, the check mark tells you it's a trusted, safe site.
For scan setup - open to your Norton main page. You'll see three blueish boxes titled: Computer, Internet, and Identity. Beside each title you'll find "settings" click to enter the set up categories for that heading. The one you want is "Computer" to set up for scans. I have mine set for weekly idle time scans, it works quietly when you're not on the computer, but it's left turned on. I love it. :)
Is THE NAME "Norton" sells in market or The Norton Antivirus is realy that much good regarding its functionallity that people love to buy it?

Is it safe/will it damage my computer if I remove Norton PC checkup through the Add/Remove Programs list? It acts more like spyware than anything else on my computer, it's useless and annoying :/

You're reading I installed Norton Virus protection 2009. What is with the shopping cart showing up on everything I google? Also, how do I schedule scans? Looked everywhere.
