Society wants to brainwash children.

I find it a wonderful way to start a conversation about morals, and a yet another way to make them think. I ask questions like, "Why didn't it work for the king (Midas) to love gold so much?" or "Do you think the fisherman's wife would have been happy without those extra things?" or "Do you think you would be smarter if somebody told you your clothes were beautiful if you knew you were naked?" or "What do you think would have happened if Cinderella's family had been nicer to her?" or "Does it matter how many stars you have on your belly (Sneetches)?" Stuff like that. Always in a fun way, but still thinking :)
