  • There are all kinds of rain. It could be drizzling, raining, pouring, or a gullywasher, as we say down south. Plus, the sun is sometimes out when it is raining and then clouds or lack thereof can mix it up too. It can be depressing or soothing.   • when i lived out west, i found rain to be comforting because it only happened rarely and briefly. but here in the northern mid-west, it is not unusual for us to go a week and a half with no sunshine, in the summer! i've found, over the years, the rain does affect my mood. rain, rain, go away, little vera wants to play...!
