Yes many people from qna are coming here. And im one, I used to be a qnaer before its closing. And i know many who moved to here and are going to move. The fact that they weren't friendly on qna isn't true. Its toatally the opposite, maybe a misunderstanding happenned in you case. Also, you can't say that all qnaers are bad, maybe one was and not all. You can't judge a whole community on some. I advice you giving them a chance at least.

If they are not friendly, I CAN'T wait!!!! Bring it.

You can't really judge an entire person based off of nothing other then a site they visited...
-
if they are coming here the AB staff needs to fix this site cause i don't think it can handle a whole site full of people coming here

Some people weren't very friendly on QnA. Sometimes, the way the system was set up made it difficult to be friendly, too. (No "How are you doing?" questions and NO chatting or someone would gripe about the CoC.) In general, I found a lot of the people to be friendly and helpful and have missed some of them quite a lot. I was a QnAer until I was pointed to AB last Sept. Then, my QnA visits eventually dropped off to nothing because I was tired of how the site was being run and many good users had already abandoned ship.

Seems like many or coming here from QnA.

I've never been very good at politics, and not until I saw two q%a's sites working side by side, and being part of both, beginiinning in one, being literallly banned into another, did I see the beauty of the poower of this great democracy. Communism was a word I understood, but never really grasped until it stood side by side with the democratic way. Hands down democracy rules, humans hate to be told what to do, and will misbehaive in accordance to the restrictions placed on them . Creativeness almost suffocates when told what to do, and AB allows the COC to be just that, a code of conduct any decent person would follow if they desired to not be a lepor but contributor to thier community, on their own creative hand, not one dictated to them by a set of arbitrary laws. PINK PINK ahahah the end. AB ROCKS>

Hey, I came from QnA and I'm friendly. :)

Hi AK, I came here from MSFT QnA, and I can tell you there were some extremely friendly people there! People who comforted me when my Father died, people who kept me laughing and smiling during a catastrophic illness, and people who encouraged me when I was discouraged. All in All, QnA was much more than a Database - it was a Family and I miss it. The nearly 3 year Beta ended yesterday. I was feeling a little bit homeless, but was really happy when I came here and was so warmly welcomed by many in the wonderful Answerbag community! I hope you will give the former QnAers a chance. I for one am friendly, and I am grateful to be here! :-))
