You're reading I was on birth control for 4 years, due to financial problems and being dropped from health insurance, I couldn't afford my next 2 months of pills. I've been switched to a cheaper brand, but I haven't gotten my period yet. Can I start my new pack now?

I haven't had sexual intercourse since before I ran out of my pills. I think I'm good on that bit.

In that case, you can certainly start your new one. But if you're even a little bit confused, I'd say that you should check it up. It's so simple, easy, cheap and hygienic so you needn't to worry about it; and you can do it by yourself at home.
And one thing I must say before posting the comment, it's one of the most exciting and mysterious phenomena to conceive and give birth of a baby; and the symtomps are often seen after a long time. So why're you to take the risk? Since you're adopting birth control, it's never be a good decision that you miss any symtomp, is it?
