A standard cord is 4'x4'x8', it should take up 128 cubic feet, so cords can also be 4'x2'x16'. Been cutting firewood, and cedar , the size is 4'x4'x8',but that was a long time ago they might be using a metric system now! If someone is selling you a cord of 2x4x8' fire them! and get half your money back, hope this helps, HIP.
