No. Whoever controls the system we believe in controls the world. Money is only worth something because we believe it to be worth something. Why is one ink configuration more valuable than another? We believe it to be so. But money has no value without another to verify its belief. What's worth more water or money? If you were alone in the desert which would you rather have. What good would American currency be when dealing with a native in an isolated area in the middle of nowhere? To the native it's nothing but brightly colored strips of wood.
