  • You can find the bookmark file in your Firefox profile directory. OR, you can search for bookmarks.htm using windows explorer. You can view your Firefox bookmark file in any browser. Simply open or drag & drop the bookmark file (bookmarks.htm) to the browser window. If you e.g. save the bookmarks file to a memory stick, you always have your favorite bookmarks with you, regardless which browser or PC you use. The bookmarks are saved in a file called bookmarks.html.
  • Well, there's a backup of your bookmarks that Firefox stashes away here: C:Documents and Settings -YOUR USERNAME -Application Data -Mozilla -Firefox -Profiles -something.default (it varies) -bookmark backups It's saved in HTML format. If you have internet explorer, it's a little easier to find-- C:Documents and Settings -YOUR USERNAME -Favorites
  • I use Windows XP Professional and this is where my Firefox "bookmarks.html" file is located. The application data directory is hidden by default so you have "unhide" the directory. C:\Documents and Settings\Strathcona\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\urfmympy.default The program directory also has a boomarks file but I think it's just a template used by Firefox and doesn't actually contain your current bookmarks (those you'll find at the above address). C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile I also haven't changed any settings or redirected anything so I'm assuming these are the default locations.
  • I don't know about the question. I just wanted to say; awesome avatar thing!
