Sony Wega Trinitron KV-32FS120, won't turn on; stand by/timer light blinking 9 times?!!! Help anyone!

9 blinks shows an error in the power supply, the zero crossing circuit is not seeing a clean signal from the ac line -the repair is quite common most shops can do for 150$ or less
