How can I detox vicodin at home, have kids cant go to rehab. I take 8-10 5/500's a day x2years, I have rhumetoid arthritis but dont want pills anymore, I havent had any for about 36 hrs and IM SICK

Best thing to do when you are addicted to anything that you need to survive is wean yourself off gradually. Stopping cold turkey is serious hard on your body's chemistry. Instead of stopping all together, set yourself a goal of lowering the dosage and/or extending the time that you take it so that by, and this is an arbitrary number, the end of a month, you can stop taking it with very little side effects. Btw, an alcoholic hangover is going cold turkey...best solution for a hangover...have a single drink to less the effect. Same principle applies, just over a longer period of time.
