Help answer this question below.
1) The Ipod would have to act as proxy server via the wire to the computer. I am pretty sure it is not set up for that, and programming a proxy server on the Ipod is serious programming.
2) Also you need to remember that the cellular network is limited in the bandwidth it can provide. Most places I would expect speeds not much better than the 128kbps you can get with an audiomoden on your phone.
3) And finally the game you want to connect to would need to have a WAP protocol interface (rather than the usual HTTP) as that is what the ipod wants to connect to.
I do not think it is worth the bother. Here in DK the wendors are selling small broadband dongles specifically built to go into a USB port on your computer. That gets you past problem 1 and 3, and if you live in a big city 2) the cellnet may be built up enough to provide the speed you need.

I can't sync my i pod touch 2 i tunes, it starts ok then ofter a couple of minutes i tunes says " you do not have enough access privilege" ?
