Question

Help answer this question below.

I KNOW THAT I HAVE SEEN LATE MODEL MUSTANG RIMS AND TIRES ON A CLASSIC MUSTANG. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET 2005 MUSTANG FACTORY 16" WHEELS TO FIT ON MY 1966 V8 COUPE? SPACERS? HOW WIDE?

I looked at several web sites for wheels and tires. Most do not have a selection program which will go back to 1966 models. However, Tire Rack does. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Mustang&autoYear=1966&autoModClar= Tire Rack shows only old style wheels on their selection program but they are 16" and tires to fit are also available. I suggest that you go to the site to get the specifications for the wheel (diameter, width, offset, hole pattern dimensions) and then look at the wheel style that you like and compare the specs. Or contact Tire Rack directly.
