    Not ALL women do! me being one that doesn't! There are a few advantages to buying name brand clothes though. Because of their high prices, they are usually higher quality therefore it will last longer and will be made better. This is my reasoning for the very few items in my closet with designer tags.

    Because when I pay for anything I expect the best outcome from it. I want excellent quality, color, the way it fits me - whole 9 yards! Designer clothes matches my requirements.

    JK. Most women don't "lust" for designer brands. But the reason they want them is because owning expensive items increases one's social status and makes one's peers jealous.
