    All I know for such a famous person there is alot of secrets about his life, as he travelled alot. The question would be difficult to answer as people and society acted very differnently to now. He did however write some strong parts for women, as he had lots of affairs. He left his wife the 2nd best bed which in fact would be the bestest bed, may be he felt guilty.
